Courtney worked with us on two significant projects: SICK! Cars - exploring complicated and challenging questions about masculinity and mental health. Courtney worked closely with male participants from Moston and Harpurhey, to deeper connect with the subject matter and write material to become part of the large-scale artwork. 

Unmasking Masculinity - Society says that men don’t show their emotions, boys don’t cry and you just need to man up. We don’t agree. Courtney was one of four fantastic local poets who shared their work and talked about what it means to be a man, to share your feelings and to write poetry.

Both projects were related to challenges young and older men have with mental health. I highly recommend Courtney because he conducted both projects with such great enthusiasm.
